How did i9 Sports get its name?
The name “i9 Sports” was chosen to symbolize nine key differences in our approach to youth sports: imaginative, innovative, interactive, integrity-driven, impassioned, inspirational, instructional, insightful and inclusive. i9 Sports literally means “i to the 9th power.”
How much are royalty and advertising fund fees?
Our royalty rate is 7.5% of your monthly gross revenues and the national brand fund fee is the greater of 1% of your monthly gross revenue or $275.
Does i9 Sports offer financing?
i9 Sports can introduce you to outside third party lenders who may be able to help.
How much money can I make?
Our franchisees enjoy multiple profit opportunities from player registration fees, sponsorships, concessions and merchandise sales. i9 Sports is proud to be among franchisors who provide financial performance details in item 19 of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). Please contact us to receive your own copy of our FDD.
How do territories work?
We offer large territories based on child population, availability in a specific market area and the density of i9 Sports target customers. Our franchise territories are exclusive and protected, which ensures that no other franchise will be placed in the same area. As some markets are already sold out, please contact us to see if territory is available where you live.
Do I need to purchase real estate or facilities?
No. As an i9 Sports franchisee, you don’t purchase real estate or facilities so you are never tied to a specific location and can develop multiple league locations within your exclusive territory. Because of this, your i9 Sports franchise is essentially a multi-unit franchise at the price of one.
What sports can I operate?
You will have the rights to own all of the following sports: Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, ZIP Lacrosse™ and Cheerleading.
Is i9 Sports a part-time or full-time career opportunity?
Owning and operating an i9 Sports franchise is a full-time career opportunity. As “CEO” of your own business offering multiple sports, at multiple locations, four seasons a year, you will have your hands full. But then again, who would want to do anything else?
What is i9 Sports’ competitive advantage?
Our business model, with the “i9 Sports Experience” as its centerpiece, has redefined youth sports across the nation with a simple focus on fun and good sportsmanship. Unlike the hyper-competitive, win-at-all-cost approach taken by other youth leagues today, we believe that sports should focus on age-appropriate instruction, fun and a convenient experience where kids learn athletic skills and good sportsmanship values that will last a lifetime.
