i9 Sports is expanding with a new franchise location in Orange County. After successful careers in teaching and running a not-for-profit, Robert and Dawn Hammond were looking for an opportunity that would allow them to make a living while giving back to the families in central and northeast Orange County, California. They found their perfect opportunity with i9 Sports.
Robert began his adult life as a Combat Engineer in the Marine Corps, followed by receiving BAs in Liberal Arts and Broadcast Communications from Fullerton College and the University of LaVerne respectively. Following college Robert embarked on dual careers as a Special Education teacher and as a football/volleyball official. Robert is also a Trustee for the Orange County School board. Dawn graduated from the University of San Berdino with a BA in English and Linguistics. Dawn has taught English in Middle school and High School environments. Dawn has also operated a non-profit focused to help children and adults learn how to read and write and she has served as a successful Campaign Manager for Robert and other local political candidates.
Robert and Dawn have been married for seventeen years and have two children; Micah, age 14 and Jenna, age 11. They reside in Orange County.
Robert and Dawn’s service focused on families and kids in Orange County has them primed for success as i9 Sports franchisees. Robert and Dawn will be helping kids succeed in life through sports while providing unsurpassed convenience and organization to the adults in central and northeast Orange County for many years to come.
