New i9Sports Owners Look Forward to Creating Fun Experiences
Palloma and Todd Peterson are excited to launch their first season as i9 Sports franchisees this Saturday, September 21, at Fairfax Christian School in Vienna, VA.
As parents of a six year old, energetic, daughter, they understand the importance of sports for the youth in their area. When researching programs for their daughter, they found the leagues offered were lacking in providing the positive sporting experience they both had as child athletes. Most leagues were fixated on the win-at-all-costs mentality and were lacking in providing a fun atmosphere. By operating youth sports programs that focus more heavily on the fun of the game rather than the outcome, they are confident they will bring this positive experience to the youth in their community.
When researching the i9 Sports franchise opportunity, Palloma and Todd were drawn to the mission of i9 Sports – “To help kids succeed in life through sports.” Both have given much of their time and talents to giving back to the youth around the world. Upon seeing the need for a better education for the children of Brazil, Palloma’s family opened and operated a school where they focused on the needs that were not being met. Palloma operated as Director of Daily Operations for the school until she moved to Virginia. In 2001, Todd co-founded Partner for Surgery (partnerforsurgery.org) which provides surgical and medical care to impoverished citizens of Guatemala. This organization has grown and gained international attention for the work it has done.
For both Palloma and Todd, the i9 Sports experience is one that is unparalleled and they are thrilled for the families in Vienna to experience it for themselves.
